Evangel Christian Center was founded in 1970 by Pastor Raymond Franks. The first service had 16 people in attendance. From that 16 the church grew and in time begin to expand. One of the things that gained importance with the church was the need for Christian education.

 

In 1976 they started a school that even today continues on with the same spirit of Christian education being a very important ministry. Through some name changes and location changes we came to be who we are today.

 

In 2005 Pastor Brenton Franks was voted in as the Lead Pastor as Pastor Raymond retired. Since that time the church has continued to grow and move forward. With God’s help and under the guidance of our wonderful Pastors we have founded a Christian School, TV and Radio Station, as well as continue to reach Albuquerque and throughout the world with the message of a loving God.

 

Today, two TV Stations and the Academy are on premises as well as a thriving church community who seeks to continue reaching out in love to our community, city and our world.
